Do I need to know how to swim?

No. Certified whitewater life jackets (ISI-marked or international equivalent) are mandatory and your guide is trained in swift-water rescue. Most rafters have never swum a stroke.

What's the right age range?

Brahmpuri: 12+. Shivpuri: 14+. Marine Drive and Kaudiyala: 16+. No upper age limit if medically fit.

What should I wear?

Quick-dry shorts, sports sandals, sunscreen. Helmet, life jacket, and paddle are provided. Bring a change of clothes.

When is the rafting season?

September 15 to June 30. River closed during monsoon (July–mid-September) by Uttarakhand government order.

Cancellation policy?

Free reschedule up to 24 hours before. 48+ hours: full refund. Within 48 hours: 50% refund. No refund on no-shows.
